About

About Henry

A self-taught, award-winning artist, Henry has, over the years, been a member of several local art groups, including the recently formed Pastel Society of Western New York. As a member of the highly regarded Société de Pastel de l’est du Canada, he was honored when his paintings were accepted for international exhibit in Montréal, Canada, every year his works were submitted.

He has more recently had shows at the Mendon Public Library and has participated in various classes and exhibitions at The Mill & Art Center Gallery in Honeoye Falls, New York.

Semi-retired, Henry combines a studio with his barbershop in the village of Honeoye Falls. In the informal gallery, framed works cover the walls, and opposite his barber chair is his easel, displaying the current work in progress. Alongside that are sketches and a vast array of colorful pastel chalks required to complete the work. More paintings are displayed here as well.

Henry enjoys discussions about art, art history, and wine, among numerous other topics.
